Delicious Coffee Drink Recipes with Full Moon Syrups

Real talk: I started Full Moon with cocktails in mind, but it only took a hot minute to realize that I could make something amazing for my morning coffee, too. Our bestselling Cardamom Vanilla Syrup was in our initial release of 5 flavors, and back then I didn't even realize how delicious it could be in whiskey (but I know now!).

I love coffee. And I love how a perfectly roasted, ground, and brewed cup can be accented with high quality ingredients like fresh cream and delicious syrups. There's A LOT you can do with Full Moon syrups and a cup of joe - check our rigorously tested recipes below!

  • 8 ounces brewed coffee - make it the good stuff!! Freshly roasted is always best.
  • 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce Full Moon Cardamom Vanilla Syrup, or your choice, to taste
  • 1 ounce half and half, nondairy milk, or unsweeteend non-dairy creamer

Make sure to choose a good, heavy, eminently sippable mug. The recipe above is a starting point, but everyone is different. You'll find your favorite ratio of coffee:milk:sweetness in no time!

Yeah, like the one Starbucks makes, but actually good. We hate to love it!!

Add your syrup to the mug before pulling your espresso. Pull espresso and mix with the syrup. Steam the milk and pour it slowly over the top in a swirling pattern. Garnish with a sweater and scarf (you, not the coffee).

Lavender Shaken Espresso Recipe

This one should make you feel fancy. It's a lot of fun to make coffee the way you make a cocktail! There's just something about the ritual of it.

  • 2 ounces espresso
  • 1 ounce Lavender syrup, or to taste
  • 6 ounces milk
  • Ice

Add your syrup to a cocktail shaker with lots of ice (the bigger the cubes, the better). Then pull a shot of espresso and pour the shot over the ice, into the shaker with the syrup. Shake for about fifteen seconds to chill the espresso and aerate the coffee. Strain into a cup filled to the top with fresh ice, pour cold milk on top and stir. If you're feeling really fancy, garnish with cinnamon!

When you're ready to elevate your coffee game, shop syrups and taste for yourself the difference a good syrup can make!
