Basic Witch: Two Pumpkin Spice Cocktails to Celebrate Sweater Weather Season
Share
Like it or not, pumpkin spice season is here! It's the first sign of cozy season, where we lean into comfortable clothes and festive gatherings with loved ones. Ever since we released our own Pumpkin Spice syrup last year, we've been concocting so many great seasonal drinks! Here are just a couple to get you started.
Why Pumpkin Spice Syrup?
In short, becuase we had to. We put off making this syrup for as long as we could but ultimately had to face the inevitable - and honestly, making this syrup for ourselves turned us from PSL haters to big PSL fans. Our syrup is made in small batches with real, wholesome ingredients - not like the mass produced commercial syrups most drinks are made of. It’s the secret weapon for cocktails, mocktails, and even desserts, and you really can taste the difference in the way the flavors pop. Want to know how we make it? Check out our Pumpkin Spice Syrup product page for the full story and ingredient list.
1. Basic Witch
A fall twist on the classic White Russian (my dad's favorite cocktail). The warming spices play perfectly with coffee liqueur, making this the perfect dessert cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Mr. Black coffee liqueur
- 1 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- splash of cream
- dash of chocolate bitters (optional, but delicious)
Instructions: Build in a glass full of ice and stir to combine.

The sequel that's just as good as the original. This time, a twist on the espresso martini. Creamy, spiced, and just the right amount of indulgent.

- 1 oz cold brew coffee
- 0.5 oz Full Moon Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 0.25 oz Mr Black coffee liqueur
- 3 coffee beans for garnish
